Stubby Holder Design Templates and Artwork Guide

Stubby holder design templates and artwork guide

In This Article

A stubby holder design template makes it easier to prepare sharp, print-ready custom neoprene drink coolers for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and sports club fundraisers. A great result starts with proper file preparation.

Use the template for your selected product style. Its bleed, finished-edge and safe-area guides show where artwork can extend and where important design elements should stay.

Standard Stubby Holder Dimensions & Specs

Each cooler style uses its own artwork template. Do not reuse dimensions from another style: choose the template that matches the product you are ordering.

Design Templates

Each style uses a dedicated template with the correct artwork dimensions and production guides. Download links for the current style-specific files will be added here shortly. Until then, choose your product style and contact us if you need help setting up artwork.

Visit personalised stubby holders, then select a product style such as 3mm Foldable Standard or 3mm Foldable Slim.

Understanding Bleed, Cut Lines & Safe Zones

1. Artwork With Bleed

Extend background colours, patterns and full-bleed photographs to the yellow ARTWORK WITH BLEED line. This helps prevent unwanted borders if the cut position varies slightly.

2. Finished Edge

The blue FINISHED line shows the finished edge of the product. Do not place important elements directly on this line.

3. Safe Area

Keep essential text, logos, dates and core graphics inside the red dashed SAFE AREA line. This is especially important near seams, folds and base joins.

Print File Requirements & Image Quality

Print quality depends on the source artwork you supply.

  • Colour mode: CMYK files are preferred where available. If you are working in RGB, send the highest-quality original file for artwork review.
  • Image resolution: Aim for at least 300 PPI at the final artwork size. Low-resolution screenshots may look pixelated when enlarged.
  • Font outline: Convert fonts to curves or outlines when possible to avoid substitutions.
  • Accepted formats: High-resolution PDF, AI, EPS, PSD and PNG.

For vector graphics and logos, an AI or PDF file produces the sharpest edges at any scale.

The Artwork Approval and Digital Proof Process

After you submit an order and artwork, our team reviews the file before production.

  • File review: We check artwork resolution and whether key elements are positioned within the template guides.
  • Digital proof: You receive a proof to check spelling, dates, contrast and layout before production.
  • Client approval: Please check every detail carefully. Printing begins only after written approval.
  • Production & dispatch: See our shipping policy for timing or pricing for bulk tiers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file format is best for submitting artwork?

Vector PDF or Adobe Illustrator (AI) files with outlined fonts and embedded images produce the sharpest results. High-resolution 300 PPI PNG files are also suitable for raster artwork and photos.

Can I design a stubby cooler in Canva?

Yes. Use the artwork dimensions and guide lines for the exact product style you have selected; do not reuse another style’s canvas size. Export as PDF Print, and select CMYK if Canva makes it available.

What if I only have a low-resolution logo?

Contact us via the contact page before ordering so we can assess the artwork and advise on the best next step.

How do I check a design fits different container types?

For a mix of standard cans, slim seltzers and glass bottles, compare styles across Wedding Stubby Holders, Corporate Stubby Holders and Birthday Stubby Holders.
